If you are looking for a volunteering activity during the week this is your chance to make a difference!

Join a team of enthusiastic people who look forward to chatting and sharing with people in the Cumberland Area through our Merrylands CBD service. We are opening our arms to both assistants and drivers. Assistants will support the van service helping with the loading and unloading, service set up, handing out groceries, meals and drinks and engaging with our friends to provide them with much needed human connection and to point them in the right direction for more complex assistance. The drivers will perform the same duties as well as driving the van, supervising the whole operation and taking care of the data entry at the end of the service.

We do this by respecting their dignity, sharing our hope, and encouraging them to take control of their own destiny.
